Dears please advise;

am applying for visitor visa next month, am filling up the application, 2 years ago i have applied and been refused for the reasons, no enugh funds, no ties in country (since had no job).
now in the IMM5257E form there is a question:
have you ever been refused any kind of visa, admission or been ordered to leave canada or anyother country?
1.what should i answer yes?

2.and if yes what should i say the reasons?

3.do you think it will affect my new application? otherwise why they are asking it?

please advise

thank you for your help

1. You must say yes.
2. Repeat reasons that were mentioned in your refusal letter.
3. Explain what has changed since the last time you applied (e.g. more money in bank account, now have job, etc.)

thanks "scylla" for your reply,

do you mean in #3 answer that i should write them separate paper explaining the new changes with my status? since they didnt gave you chances to do that in the application form!

Hi,

You can use a covering letter to highlight these changes in your conditions.

You could also ask whoever give you the invitation letter to indicate this, in case VO not reading the covering letter.
