Hey guys i have a few questions related to the goods accompanying and to follow lists,my wife doesnt remember the details for her jewelery we can only submit pics is it ok??also if some items we are gonna bring in and out should we mention them in both lists??thanks

Submit pictures & assign a monetary value to it. Items like rings/watches that you will be taking in and out of the country, list only on the goods accompanying list.

If it's expensive jewelry (gold, diamonds, etc) I'd suggest having it appraised. You can print the pictures on plain paper and carry them with you. (When I landed that was one thing the agent did look at.)

What do you mean by appraised??? do you mean that i should re evaluate them again?? Also the jewlery will be in the goods to follow, will that make any diff?

Yes that's what I mean. If they are high value, take them to a jewelry store or someone who can tell you what they're worth.

If you don't list it on the forms, you risk having to pay taxes and duties on them.

Research online what similar items cost and use that as a value. Hopefully the officer doesn't pay much attention.
