Hi all, one of the other Forum members raised this point and having re-read through my application I think I may have made the error in my EE application. For the question:
Date JoacRy first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)
My NOC: 1111
Employment requirements
Chartered accountants require a university degree
and
Completion of a professional training program approved by a provincial institute of chartered accountants and, depending on the province, either two years or 30 months of on-the-job training
and
Membership in a provincial Institute of Chartered Accountants upon successful completion of the Uniform Evaluation (UFE).
I mistakenly entered the date I got my 'CA' designation, not the date I got my University degree. The thing is in my country you only need to be working under the supervision of a Chartered Accountant, so the Bachelors Degree is the minimum you need to be working in the profession as its only the accounting partner signing off on client documents. The 'grey' area for me is the 'and' part.
Should I 'Decline' the ITA or will an LOE do?
Thank you for your replies.
