URGENT!!! Confused about work programme. Please help

Good day,
I applied may 2019 through a friend for the work programme however something seems a bit off. The immigration lawyer seems to cannot provide me with any details regarding the process. I did medical upfront and payed 1200cad. I'm in the dark because she keeps going around in circles and I'm starting to think maybe it's a scam. She has not given me the name of the company or where I am in the process.

Is there anyone who could tell me what specific details can I request from her to know if it is really legit or scam? I am desperate for answers. Pleeeeaaassse help :(
 
@canuck78 can she request the reciept? Or what can she request from her the lawyer?
 
Who did you pay $1200? The fact that you did an upfront medical means that your case didn’t have to be in the computer. What kind of work program? You ewill nee to try to get proof from the lawyer but it sounds like a scam.
 
To take care of the elderly. I am asking for the name of the company and every time i do she get upset

If the word "urgent" or "immediately" is used - it's a scam.
