Hello,

I'm working in Canada and my job offer is backed by LMIA which gave me additional 600 point for CRS. I already have an ITA from CIC now.
But due to some unavoidable circumstances I'll have to quit my job, but I haven't submitted my documents to CIC yet for processing.

If I quit my job right now I'll loose points under 'Arranged employment in Canada' and 'Adaptability' category, but I'll still have 68/100 points, which I believe is enough for PR.

My question is, will it affect my application if I don't submit proof for current job in Canada and mention that I don't have a job anymore. Since I utilized my current job (600 LMIA points) to get a quick ITA, I'm worried it might raise flags if I mention that I'm not employed anymore while submitting the documents. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

68/100 points isn't enough to get PR. You need the 600 points that got you ITA and yes - you certain have to submit proof of your current job in Canada. If you can't do this and lose the 600 points, PR will be refused.
