I filed for a PR under CEC in April, received RCMP request in May, but no word since. I filed my GCMS and got a reply today. It says that supporting docs does not appear to match the substantial no of duties required for the selected NOC code.
Review required by officer, work experience does NOT meet requirements.

My job title and NOC code was carefully chosen and was signed by HR.

I haven't received any official communication though, what should I do now, please help

Thanks

What date was the information about needing review? It can take some time for the review, so I'm not sure how long it's been.

But without knowing the NOC and the job duties written in the letter, there's not much feedback we can give.

Hi,

If you have additional supporting documents for your NOC, you could always add it anytime, probably now?

It will help during next CIC review (by Visa Officer) and avoid rejection or questions (causing delay) from CIC.

Regards.

There are risks to sending additional information, esp. if it contradicts the initial information - then neither letter is particularly credible.

We don't actually know if there's a problem yet - it could be a VO that's not very good with NOCs, and the review officer will decide it's fine.

You are right. But if the Secind VO too find fault then he will directly regect or else he asks for any supporting documents.
But some say it better to update the Duties again.

Whom should we follow.

Hi Jes_ON

I agree with you, no contradicting information should be supplied.

Another angle of thought is that .....''supporting docs does not appear to match the substantial no of duties required for the selected NOC code''....means that more supporting docs are needed to match more number of duties of the NOC, if at all there are more supporting docs available.

As Ganapathi, I have seen some threads where it seems that applicants were not given opportunity to provide more documents for NOC & job responsibility issues before rejection, see one below- so I would advise caution to IRNBRU16:

Thanks

we are all guessing. The OP has not yet decided to share the details of the letter of employment with us. Without that, any advice would be hazardous...

Thanks for all who shared their opinions, will paste every thing once i reach home... Thanks again

Hi All,

Here is what written in GCMS

"LOE/Supporting Docs DO NOT appear to match the lead statement and/or substantial number of main duties under NOC code selected. The job description provided in LOE appear to have been partly drawn or drawn directly from the HRSDC website. There is no specific detail in the list of duties that differentiates the work from the generic description provided by HRDSC. Online research concluded"

My LOE was created by my program manager and signed by HR.

Any Suggestions? I still havent got any official communication yet (and i hope when i do, its a good one)

Thanks

SIGH. But we don't know what was in your letter of employment... what were the job duties?

It sounds like the main issue is that your manager copied the duties from the NOC website, instead of using his/her own words, or the official job description used by the company. That makes it sound "fake."

It will go to review. With luck, the next VO will sort it out. Possibly call your manager and/or HR for verification.
