Hi Friends
I had submitted my FSW application to CIC in Oct, 2014 and got a rejection last week. I had over 75 points in total. However, I believe that my NOC code for my previous jobs was wrong due to which CIC rejected my application.
Can anyone tell me if there is any way to resend the correct information under FSW 2014 program based on old system of 67 points. I do not want to apply under Express Entry.
Thanks a lot in advance!

I am afraid there isn't.. If you send app again, it is a new app and FSW 2014 is now closed for any new app. You don't have to go for EE, try for PNP if it suits your case.

Thanks Maverick. Unfortunately, I am based out of Alberta. Even PNP is taking more than 2 years and my PGWP expires in April.

I've read several posts from other applicants who applied as early as May last year and had their application returned for the same reason, incorrect NOC code. most of them may have managed to resubmit their corrected application just before the FSW 2014 ended. I'm not so sure about this and I may be wrong, but EE may just be the only way to go since its launching date. Seniors, please advise.

However you want to proceed, i wish you best of luck on your application buddy, all the best!

Do you not qualify under the CEC? Either way, if you qualified for FSW 2014 (and that too with 75 points), then you would also most certainly qualify under FSW in the express entry. The only way for you now is to apply for express entry, try to get the maximum points you can, and hope that you get invited to apply soon. And, with canadian work experience, you will stand a better chance of getting an invitation. This might actually be a blessing in disguise for you since express entry is supposed to be faster. You might even be able to get a bridging work permit if the process moves quick enough for you.

Just make sure that you choose the right NOC for your experience this time.

Thanks Namaste.
I intend to apply under Express Entry. I have another query. If I apply to FSW using express entry, do I still need to have experience in one of the 50 listed occupations (that was there in FSW 2014) or my past experience in any occupation will work provided it was under NOC 0 or 1.
Thanks!

There is no longer a list of NOCs. You can apply with any skilled work experience in NOC O, A, or B.
