Hello

My Application:

Skilled Worker, received on October 26, 2009.
application transferred to Cairo office on January 13, 2010.
reviewed and started processing on March 8, 2012.
Letter Of rejection date March 12, post arrived April 14

reason: gained points 65:
Age 10
Education 20
Language 14
Experience 21
Ar. Emp. 0
Adaptabilty 0 (I was expecting 4 points since my wife has Bachelor Degree -university 4 years)

Any help please? What can I do?

Thank you in advance.
M.

have you submitted your spouse's degree and transcript and work experience certificate as well ?!!

To claim educational points, you need to submit the Official Transcripts as well. That is a compulsory.
That is why (probably) you didn't get the points for your wife.
Regards

Submitting graduation certificate and transcript and word experience are mandatory if you need spouse's point.
So, I think you could contact the visa office, hopefully they accept to re-open your file.
Good luck

Work exp is not that important, as you are claiming points for education.

Exp certificates etc are good as they will complement your Background / History etc.

yes, you are right, education and transcript are mandatory to get spouse's point.
Work exp. is a part of their checklist and good to check background and history (as you told)

Hi

Thank you for your replies, I'm just a little confused, what I sent was the graduation certificate from the university, what is the difference when you say transcript? it is the same I did for my self and they calculated my education points well.
Any elaboration is appreciated.

the other point, is that I received the mail by post only today, is this period still OK to reopen my file?

thank you.

Hi
Transcripts are just Mark Sheets. You can get them from University/College Registrar Department.

As per my knowledge, once the application is returned with refusal, you will need to re-apply. If your NOC CAP has not reached you should send it back as soon as possible, with all the explanations. If it is than you will have to wait till next year clock re-set.

Send an email to the Visa Office as well, ask them the reason for not giving points for your wife's education, no harm in asking.

Thank you for answering...it's really disappointing after waiting so long they do such mistake.!

Not their mistake dear silver1. They have clearly mentioned Transcripts in the check list.

Excuse me for asking again but why they gave me complete education points when I provided exactly the same for myself?

Hmmm then might depend on Uni? Best person to answer would be your visa Officer.
Like i said..... Do write a letter/email as an appeal. Might not work but nothing to loose.
