I am currently apply for the work permit in Canada. Both my son and I received a request letter from IRCC on a different date. i submitted the additional documents required about myself, but i did not notice that my son have also be required too,so he was refused. If I am approved, what i can do next to bring my son with me. Or my application will be affected. I was really upsetted.

What does the refusal letter say? You will most likely have to reapply visitor Visa for your son and delay your travels if you want to come to Canada together. I hope you have full custody of your son if you plan on coming with him/her as a single parent.

it says that the refusal is because that the documents are not provided.
