Upload foreign PCC on Express Entry

Hi all!
I was hoping I could have some insight from those of you who went through the process...

I'm currently setting up my EE profile for me and my wife. Since the system is automated, after getting ITA, fields are generated based on the informations you entered upon EE profile submission.
Thing is, my wife has lived abroad for the duration of her grad studies, but I don't see anywhere where I am asked if she lived in another country for 6 months or more. Therefore, I'm assuming I won't see the field asking me to upload her foreign PCC...

Any idea when I will be asked that? Is it after they see it when submitting one of the forms? IMM0008 or IMM5669 maybe....

If that's the case, seems like it will add substantial delays in my submission just because I have to wait for them to ask for it...

Any thoughts...?

1/ So when I add the dates of her education in France specifically (i.e Sept. 2016 TO Sept. 2017), a field will be automatically generated to upload PCC. I understood you correctly?

2/In my case, I haven't lived or studied in the U.S for six months or more, but over the last 10 years, I spent NEARLY 6 months there. So no field will be generated. In this case, I presume I'll have to wait for them to ask for it after seeing my days spent in the US on my IMM5669 or Travel History form. Right?
