I went through most of forums related to medicals but I still couldn't figured out whether it is non-EDE or family or EDE required for people who are currently working in Canada (CEC)???
Some members mentioned ,non-EDE for applicant and for family members, family test..while some members mentioned their applications got rejected when appeared under non ede???
can some one please tell me how to identify which one is correct test???

Is it right idea to go for upfront medicals or wait until we get request for CIC???

Get the medical after you get an ITA - it has to be valid when you land in Canada, and it is only valid for one year. Don't worry about the category, just make it clear to your doctor that you are applying for permanent residence.

The doctor knows what to pick. Just mention you are applying for your PR, the rest they will take care. They will then give you a document which you can scan and upload. What's your CRS score?

I and spouse had NON-EDE VISITOR written on the information sheet. I checked today and saw Medical Passed on my CIC a/c..

My score 1041...received PNP few days back...so expecting ITA in next draw..
I just want to make sure that I select correct medicals..

I had a upfront medical exam under Family-EDE, Currently Working in Canada, Once you call to book an appointment, just let them know that you want to do an upfront medical exam for Express entry and they will put it by themselves, But if they are not sure get Family-EDE. Hope this helps :)

I have 410 points right now, is it okay for me to go ahead and book up front medical examination?

The medical exam has a validity of 1 year. Whether to take it or not with 410 pts is your call.
If I were you I would wait until getting an ITA. There might be some clinics that can give you an appointment in less than a week. I got mine for next day after I called. One of my friends got his appointment within 3 days.

What's medical status EE now?? Is it passed?
I just want make sure with medicals because I don't want to loose my PNP nomination in case my medicals gets rejected..
