Hi Guys,
I have got an ITA and I should do medicals. How will I know my test results ? Since this is an upfront medical exam, do the physicians upload in the eMedical system ? I will not submit my application yet, so should I wait till I submit my application or is there any specific website where I can see my results.

Yes the clinic would upload your results on eMedical system. It will be available to CIC. Most of the clinics do not share the medical test results, however at some places they do on additional payment. You can check with your clinic

Ask your doctor for a copy.

Hi,
I tried asking the same from CMM hyderabd, India. They are not replying. They say they will upload the results in 3-5 working days but I don't know how to check those results if I haven't submitted my application yet. If i ask them for a copy of the results, they are avoiding the question.

Uploading is fine but how do I get to know the results ? I think the eMedical system is only accessible by CIC people ?

Correct, if your doctor isn't willing to provide a copy of the results then there is not much you can do.

lol.. this is ridiculous then.. I have to wait a long time to see my very own results :D .. This seems to be unfair ..

You will never see your own results in the normal application process (unless the doctor provides them to you, as discussed).

However, if there are any issues, the doctor will get back to you for additional tests or CIC will contact you. Of course, if any serious issues are uncovered that require treatment, the doctor will let you know about these.

CIC contacting me would take some time since I will submit my application after sometime. But if the doctor doesn't call me back for additional tests, I can assume my results are fine ?

Not necessarily. But after you submit your application, you can see if your medical status changes to "passed". If that is the case, your medical result is acceptable to CIC.

Once I submit my application, where do I see the results ? Is it in the same cic login page ( the one where I created my express entry profile and stuff ) ?

CMM hyderabad will not share results with you. just upload the emedical sheet they give you in medicals placeholder. we applicants never get to know what the results are. if there are additional tests needed, then CMM/CIC will contact you.

Yes. You will see it in myCIC.

But again, you won't see any detailed results. It will either say "in progress", "passed" or they will contact you.

oh thanks.. How long will it generally take to update the results ? any timelines ?

Mate - you seem quite concerned about the whole medical thing. Do you have any condition that would be expensive to treat, or is dangerous to public health? If you don't, you should relax.

In general, medicals are the first thing they look at and they usually are set to "passed" within 4-6 weeks after submitting your application. Occasionally it can take longer. Every case is different.

never gave a medical test.. so a little bit anxious about the results and stuff.. :)

Hi guys,

We are a couple from Egypt, we got ITA under FSW and we need you help to fill the client detail correctly:

Husband is the principal applicant, should he be EDE OR NON EDE, WORKER OR FAMILY
For the spouse, what should be mentioned under her client visa details too?

i did my medical when i previously received ITA, but due to some errors i made in my EE profile i have to decline my ITA to make changes in my EE profile.
After making changes , i again received my ITA in the latest Draw, so my question is can i use my same medical that i did for my previous invitation,
Or do i have to retake the medical.

Kindly advise.

I have a question though after ITA do I have to go for a upfront medical or cic will inform for a period of 30 days when the medical has to be done. I am on a open work permit in canada
