I was just wondering,,,, if we keep updating the visa office as in sending my new job offer letter and new visa for my husband at different times in between the processing.... does our application get delayed in anyway?? .....

I think this is not a requirement you are requested to provide important changes that may effect your application such as your family status, birth, divorces, death, change of addresses, not having a new job or changing your UAE visa

When should I contact CIC?

You must notify CIC of any changes in your application, such as:

changes in your personal circumstances such as a birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce,
change in contact information (email, mailing address, phone number),
appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual, or,
decision to withdraw your application.

Thus. It would appear that we contact them if there are ANY changes, however, it seems that they list changes that may affect your application (as Camelboy stated).

So my husband is leaving the UAE to change his employment visa,,,, as he was just offered a new job in the UAE which requires him to exit and come back in..... I am also providing them with my NOA from 2011,, which they requested in the first document request, and at that time I had just returned to Canada from visiting a country abroad (long story) so I just had my return assessed and now have my NOA it took me 4-6 weeks to receive it,,, and I did tell the VO to wait a while (requested more time)... I would now like to send this along with my new job offer letter in Canada...... If I do this,, will it slow down our visa process??

I am still a bit unsure...

You can add this along with your NOA, only those important changes may create a delay on your file, those changes mentioned below by CharlizeRai.

We did change our mailing address once by submitting the change of mailing address form which they send to us by E-mail and we faxed it in and mailed it by post..... :(

Now I'm worried because I don't want my process delayed.. I'm so depressed already waiting for my husband here in Canada.

if you are worried then you can leave it, a job offer letter was not a requirement in the first place. Just send them the NOA.

Thanks I'll do that... I appreciate all your prompt reply's guys

Also another question since I have your attention..... I would like to send these documents myself from Canada... Does my husband need to authorize me as the sponsor (his wife) to send the documents to the VO (Abu dhabi) ... Or can I just put the file number and names down etc... and send it without any problems....

What do you mean sending from Canada is not a problem ??

The letter s/he is sending is the sponsor's NOA, so the VO knows that s/he is residing there.

Sunsun ,

I thought that the VO dont' care the origin of the mail, all they care is the content of the mail and file number, Even if you saying that the applicant must send it instead of the sponsor, then the applicant can be on visitor's VISA in any country such as Canada, right?

Hi just to make it more clear... I am the sponsor sponsoring my husband who currently resides in Dubai..

What I am asking is if I can send the additional documents which were requested on behalf of the applicant.... the letter came to him in his e-mail and says that "we need your sponsors NOA if he/she is residing in Canada.. blah blah..."

So can I sent it from Canada, or do I need his authorization...

Regardless of where he lives or where I live,,,, can i send the documents to the Abu Dhabi embassy myself being the sponsor??

Do I have to fill out this form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf
