Updating information on PGWP application

Hi All,

I need your help please

I applied for my PGWP like 2 weeks ago and according to my cic account, the application has been confirmed but processing not started. I will like to declare (just DECLARE) a common law partner in the application which I did not do initially because I didn't know much about it. Is it possible to make such update? If yes, how can I do that.

Hi there,

First, "just DECLARE" is not like taking a sip of water. You are changing your status from single to common law partner. And yes you can update them. Send them a cover letter explaining the situation before they take action. You probably can email that to them with your client ID number. Call CIC call centre and see if they can lead you to a link or they can update your profile over the phone.
