updating form

hi friends

my representative has filed express entry application on my behalf.

But i needed to check whether he filed everything correctly or not.

he has given me the username and password.

but when i go to view my profile there it is only showing fields 'Update form'.

will it be okay if i click on them to check if everything has been filed correctly.

I know there is a difference between Modify and Update, so thats why I am asking.

If i dont check, i will remain anxious.

You are paying the representative, isn't it?? Didn't they got it verified from you before filing, usually its a critical step. Ask them to get it done as its their job.

Lol, my rep took $1k+ and didn't do shit for 4 months. I fired her and did everything on my own. A lot of them (especially those that aren't RCICs) are very very bad. Relying on them is like asking a toddler to drive on a highway.

I agree. Usually they just encourage student visa as they get commissions from both sides rather than other categories which are sometimes complicated cases and they have zero knowledge. I think they should also go through some test like if there fault is there licence will be suspended or something like that.

100%. I am not sure if you are aware. But most immigration consultants ask for 10x documents even when they don't need. And then, they also sell your data. My immigration consultant told me that I only need 6,6,6,8 IELTS score in mid 2019 to get invited.

When I looked up, that was barely making my CRS to ~400, while ITAs were being issued at 450ish. Took me 4 months to realize I was getting scammed (thanks to migrant Youtubers and the info they shared). Then I took control of my profile and got hit by 2020 . Draws were off the table, so was IELTS for 6 months and then I finally reached my max score with 5 age points deduction in 2020. I missed my ITA in 2020 by 1 point.

Long story short, I got my ITA finally in 2023 Jan by doing French. I could've gotten mine if I wasn't that trusting in 2019 or if my consultant didn't lie about required IELTS score.

Bad consultants can cost you so much. I'd definitely love to see anyone claiming to provide Immigration service be heavily regulated.

Wow you have struggled with this since 2019?
I found out about EE in 2021 but quickly realized that I won’t have a chance without French and had to learn it.
Now I plan to submit my application on exactly the 2 year anniversary of my first EE profile. March AOR

haha, I was very busy in 2019 and spending $1k+ on an agent felt like a steal to handle this for me. It was too good to be true indeed.
