Hi
I want to know if anybody has sent an updated reference letter tp cic while the application is under process
I have mentioned the noc as suggested by the hrdc team in my eapr.
The lead statement is in line with my duties and minimum education qualifications required for the noc are possessed by me.
My job title is also among the listed titles in my noc
However, out of 12 duties mentioned on the hrdc site for my noc, 6-7 are included in my reference letter and rest 5 are not included at all.
So , do I need to give an updated reference letter from my co mentioning all 12 duties ?

Thanks

You cannot include all the duties. You should only include those duties which you were actually doing while working. 60 to 70 percent match of duties is required.
There cannot be a job where you are doing all the job duties mentioned under a particular NOC code.
The job duties mentioned on their website is a combination of all possible duties that may relate to that particular NOC code.

I know that but read a number of articles online where rejections happened for substantial number of duties not matching the reference letter.
I need expert comments pls
I want to be safe.

Also I read online that the law says
"Applicant should have done all or more of the duties"

Your employment letter you include the majority of the duties mentioned in NOC description but by no means all of them exactly, as that only gives the impression that you made the letter artificially match the NOC.

At the very least I would try to rephrase several of the duties so that they still match the NOC but with slightly different wording.

As lomg as your letter covers the majority of the main duties, I wouldnt worry about it.

Copying is not what I meant at all.
I mean the points should be included in your ref letter some or the other way.
Not a copy paste thing, but to demonstrate your skilled work
And we all get the reference letter on purpose for cic.
Cic does not allow a general format.
It wants specific details, so we draft it and get it on letterhead .
As long as the reporting manager agrees that u do these duties and signs the letter, we are good to go.

Hi Every one,

I have a question if someone can answer. If you are invited to apply, do you need your income tax records as well?

If you have Canadian work experience, then you migth need to show T4s or income tax records but if you only claim foreign work experience, then income tax records are not needed.
