Updated address information..

My husband and I applied 3 weeks ago Outland. We are processing through Sao Paulo, Brazil. In our application, we supplied his current address, etc.., but for economic reasons he is taking a new job and moving to a new city. Do we send the updated address information to Sao Paulo or Mississauga? And should I wait until we have a file number to attach it to?

As soon as the sponsor is approved you can change his address on E-CAS..Takes 2 weeks for them to acknowledge the change of address! If you want to mail it you should wait until you have a file number!

along somewhat similar lines- can you update the contact email address with E-cas once sponsorship is approved???

because I realized after submitting the application, that if my partner spends the time he's waiting for PR approval traveling - visiting me, and his parents etc - that we may cancel our home internet service and lose the email address that he included in the application....

I'm not sure your answer, but am glad I wasn't the only one thinking of that. I setup a gmail account when we started the process -not knowing if we'd keep our cable when our house sells and we have to move into an apartment. And thusly lose our home email.
I'm sure you can update it in a similar fashion though.

I hope so!! I (sponsor) listed my gmail acct, but my partner is not really computer-oriented - he barely checks his email, prefers to talk on the phone, and I didn't even think about it until after the app was submitted.

ah well. I guess we'll find out!
