Update UK Mailing address? How to

I am moving into a new apartment in the UK and wanted to update my address on the CIC website. There is an online form. The form will not allow me to change the mailing address without updating the home address. The problem is that the there is no option for UK - It is greyed on Canada only. My address is listed under mailing address so they do have my old address I just cannot seem to make a change to provide them with the new address. Anyone had this issue and what do I do about it. Should I write to CIC formally to notify instead of using the online form.

I had a similar problem - I updated the home address (to the same as it is listed,) in order to change the mailing address... three weeks later, still hasn't changed the mailing address at ECAS, so I called CIC helpline and they said not to worry, that the current mailing address is correct in their system, just doesn't show the correct one on ECAS, and they are aware of the updating problem. You could give notice of the change thru the 'case specific enquiry' portal, and/or fax or email your visa office.., and cover literally all the bases
