Update Study period after receiving ITA

Hi,

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I received my ITA, however, I noticed that I had mentioned my study end date to be Oct (month of convocation) instead of Aug (month of my defense).

Will there be an issue if i leave it as such and proceed to submit an application?

Also, I completed my couse in 20 mnths, i specified the duration to be 2 years, since the EE profile has no provision to specify the the duration in months.

Any comments?

The course you did, I assume, was for 2 years.
In Canada, people mostly go to school in Fall and Winter Semester. Summers are not counted.
So its okay for you that the years of study is 2 years.
for ex: people who complete 4 years of bachelor degree are in school typically 32 months. which is shy less than 3 years. although, their degree is 4 years.
