Hi Folks

Its exactly 54days we landed in this great country.
We received our PR cards today when i was about to call the CIC.
Thank God. Our road towards becoming Citizens now begins.

EMPLOYMENT
Got a 9months contract offer as a Business Analyst with one of the big banks but the unfortunate happened on the night i did the interview. I broke my left arm while playing soccer and have been in a cast for the past 25days. 6more weeks to go. I couldnt move the arm nor even put on a shirt....its a very bad injury.
Spoke with the bank but was told that i will be re- consider if the project is still ongoing by the time am back.
Fellows dont be discouraged and please dont believe the negative stuffs people write or say about the labor market here.
If you are good, you get the job...period....Its a level playing field and i still get calls for even more lucrative roles on daily basis.
Like i always say" i wont settle for the second best in this country". Its there for us to explore.
The only outstanding thing is our Health Card. Hopefully should be in by the end of November. Healthcare is very expensive here if uninsured.
Wish you guys all the best always.
