Update email address MyCIC or ECAS?

My email on file is being locked out (maybe too much travelling, I don't know), so anyone knows if I can still check my messages (the same content as in the mail) on the MyCIC account? Or, if I'll have to update my email address to another one, I can see that it can be done on both MyCIC and eCAS, which is preferred?

It's confusing having both.

It's confusing having both.

myCIC is newer, so I would probably do it there. You can also follow up after changing it with the Call Centre to make sure they have the change reflected on your file.
