Hi CEC applicants,

I just received my GCMS notes today, and my Eligibility status is "Review Required" as employment letter provides a list of duties which appears to NOC, however, there is no indication of income earned as T4 or NOA was not provided (they were NOT mandatory documents at the time you submit your applications and I have not received my T4 nor NOA at the time I submitted my application). I was wondering if they would accept my updated documents?

I am a November 2012 applicant and the last time I had a correspondence with the case processing officer was in June 2013 for additional documents (RCMP request and police clearance certificate). According to the GCMS notes the due date of my application is November 27, 2013. What really annoys me is that the Case Processing Officer does not explicitly requests you for ALL the documents REQUIRED to review your case. Therefore, I strongly urge all patiently waiting applicants to request for the GCMS notes to find out exactly what the missing ingredient is in your application process.

Thanks and I wish you all the best! Happy Diwali to those who celebrate it btw :D

hi,
unfortunately visa officers do not request additional or missing documents beside the PCC so its your responsibility to make sure your application is completed.as for the T4 and NOA they are mandatory documents so the visa officer can assess your income and compare it to the one reported in your reference letter, without these two there is no evidence for the VO about how much money you earn.
based on what you reported from your GCMS notes it looks like everything is ok beside the income issue so i would suggest you scan and email your T4 and NOA to ottawa asap specially that your due date is approaching.
good luck

T4 and NOA are mandatory documents as per document checklist. Scan and email the two latest documents ASAP!

I was about to say the same. Dang. I was reading this and like "say what now". Anyway, T4 and NOA are mandatory and you should have sent these in, well, yesterday. You can scan them an email to CPP-O.

And you are right, CPP-O will not request follow ups. Only a few lucky people ended with really nice VO who bothered to take the time. But the burden of proof is with you....so you need to convince them that you fulfill the requirements. They dont have the resources to follow up with every applicant about every little detail. What you include is what will be considered.

And yes, since these are key documents, they will be considered, if received before decision made. Perhaps if you have time, you can see about getting an updated letter from employer with income indicated (you didnt mention anything about that, so wasnt sure if included). But, T4 and NOA should be sent immediately.
