I came as an international student in canada in on 27 august 2023 and later I initiated a refund without completing a semester and got admission in portage college calgary the program start date is 22 jan but my first class is on 29 jan . Until which date will my gap be calculated. If 22 than its less than 150 days so it is fine or not . If not what can i do now to avoid any problem in my pgwp plz answer

What is the school on your permit? If you didn’t complete a semester at the school on your permit and actively study at it you cannot change schools. Also if you dropped out, the school must notify IRCC to cancel your permit. You need a new study permit.

But my dli has already been changed to my new college they would have taken action by now and I notified Ircc about my actions

So IRCC approved the DLI change so you are lucky because IRCC doesn’t allow a change if you have never studied at the school on your permit. But you are good to go. Good luck in your studies.

Ask your school international officer about whether it is start date or first day of class. i am not going to guess but most likely start date. You are lucky that IRCC approved your DLI change without studying at the school on your permit. That is not allowed under current rules but glad you have official confirmation.

What have you been doing all this time? You would not have been able to work.
