Hi,
I need help regarding what should be filled in the highest level of education field. I did my M.A in English literature in 2007 following which I did my B.Ed in 2011. I have now been accepted into M.Ed program. So my highest level is not relevant to my propsed study but my recent degree I.e B.Ed is.

My case was rejected saying my propsed program is not in light wih my previous studies. So I was wondering can this be a factor that the VO related my highest level to my propsed program without looking at my recent B.Ed degree

Got acceptance at University of Toronto....applied at chd vfs on 24th july....received pp wih refusal on 5th aug

hi jyotsna, my case is exactly same. is it possible , we can talk. my no. is 9988335907

Why do u think its a different progression. B.Ed is an asset is you wanna get into teaching in schools...here fore I did my b.ed after M.a and now I am pursuing further studies in the same field I. E education.....wat do u think can be done to convince the VO. I have 3 yrs work experience after doing b.ed.

Hello everyone,

I had applied for MEng. (Mechanical) in university of Guelph and my visa got refused by Chandigarh visa office. Reason for refusal was- Proposed program is not reasonable in light of past studies , academic scores and language abilities.

My profile is-

10th- 67%
Diploma in mechanical engg. - 67 %
B.Tech (Mech.)- 6.80 (CGPA)
one year certificate course (cad/cam)- 85%
IELTS- 7.0 bands (not less than 6)

When i cross checked my file i came to know about few mistakes-

1- In the column FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR STAY , my consultant just filled $10000 ( paid gic ) , i also have other funds and bank balances , which were not mentioned in that column.

2- In educational background column , Highest level of post secondary education was filled as my certificate course , but i think my B.Tech should've filled in that column.

3- There were also more than 26 pages just of my bank statements and certificates , i think over number of documents may have caused refusal.

Now i requested university to defer my admission to next intake and i also requested them to provide me a support letter. I wish to reaply for visa. PLEASE GUIDE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO. PLEASEEEEE IT's URGENT !!!!!!!

Hi Jyotsna,

I had applied for M.Ed at VancouverIsland University. Applied for visa on JUly 20th. An dgot the refusal on August 6th.
I got the same reason as yours.

I had done M.Sc(chemistry) and then B.Ed. Had 5 years of work experience as science teacher. I do not know what is not reasonable? I had also put highest qualification as M.Sc.

Hi Ruchi,
What do u think should be done with regards to this ....anyways I reapplied on Aug 12th...let's see what happens? What r ur further plans...did u have good academic scores in all ur previous degrees?

Jyotsna,

I am thinking of applying for CAIPS first. And accordingly, i will apply next year. What course you applied in UOT. My scores were good enough.

B.Ed = 78 %
M.Sc = 60 %
B.Sc = 67 %
12th = 89.8 %
10th = 88.4 %

IELTS = 7.5 0verall.

Teaching at convent school, chandigarh, since 2012 and some prior teaching experience.

However, plz tell me ur details and i would like to know if u get thru ur visa in the second attempt.

If u stay in chandigarh, let me know.I am staying in panchkula.

Hi Ruchi, It is a good decision to apply for CAIPS first. In your application form you should mention B. Ed as your highest qualification as you have got admission on the basis of B.Ed.

Hi Komal,

do u think, the application was rejected only on the basis that i wrote M.Sc as the highest qualification. I would also like to mention that my TRV was refused last year. and now once study permit is refused. do you all think that i should apply again in the next session?

My age is 33. And i am divorced too. do these factors also count ?

of course, i will apply for caips first.
