Hi I was looking forward to a course based MSC in CS ,
profile :
10 75%
12 82%
Btech(CS) 71%
Work Ex 2 years as software developer
IELTS : 7.5 overall

I have shorlisted the below uni's which fit my budget as well ,

University of Victoria
University of Manitoba
Uuniversity of New Brunswick
University of Saskachewan

could any body rank the above universities for the computer Science course ..Also any inputs
or suggestions plz!!!

Also does any body have any idea whether i could get into Uni of Alberta or McMaster without GRE
with the above profile?

You know your profile is way better than the unis you have shortlisted for yourself. I would just go for better unis like university of Alberta, McMaster and Waterloo. You can even try your luck in McGill and UBC. I think there are 70% chances of getting acceptance from these as well. Now I dont know whether a GRE is required or not. I read somewhere that GRE is not required if you have Ielts scores with you. But still dont follow me in this matter. I would suggest to not limit yourself and go for better ranked unis.

beside UNI of new brunswick ,all others are good,If i was at ur place i would have chosen uni of manitoba bcs it is the largest uni of province and it wil help u after graduating , u wil get rebate on tuition fees and some how this province is also known for easier Pr rules.

Please suggest me any good universities which is Low Budget but but Reputed one, I am looking for next year Fall Intake

High school- 87 %
Intermediate - 82 %
B.Tech in Electronics with 74 %
IT Work Experience - 2+ year

IELTS : Yet to give

Please note that I can not afford very High Budget Universities so please suggest those Universities only which are reputed and at average cost.

Do suggest the max time upto which I can give IELTS and should have all the docs ready with myself i.e. deadline for Sep Intake

Hi Mayank,

IELTS score is valid for upto 2 years, i think u can take 2-3 months to prepare
and give the IELTS !!!

In case u dont get a gud score u would have ample time for improving and besides
it gets u started.

Regarding Uni , m in a fix too, waterloo needs 85% nd a GRE its mentioned clearly in ther website.
Uni of Toronto has a fee structure out of my reach. M looking into McMaster, Alberta now...Chances are 50% without a gre.

I think we should break up the list acc to our profile..

What I came to understand is the following :

Dream Category:

University of Alberta
University of british Columbia
University of ottawa
Queens University

Mediocre:

University of Western ontario
Dalhousie university

Sure:

University of New Brunswick ( Fees Very cheap)

I am also on very tight Budget constraints side U r planning for Fall/Winter or Summer Intake ?

I havent considered Dalhousie yet , UOttawa is expensive plus ottawa is expensive too!!
