This community looks friendly and I don't usually register on websites but I thought this is my chance to clear out my doubts. So, I have applied in mid-September for University of Guelph, January intake as a transfer studying coming from the UAE.
I haven't received my LOA yet but I'm hoping to be getting it some time this week. I have a few questions though.
I took a look at Guelph's academic calender. Winter classes commence on the 11th of January and my current university finals are from 10th to 20th, and the final grades will be submitted sometime between the 20th and 30th.
Is it okay if I skip the first week or two? Will it affect negatively?
P.S. Will the university request me to defer my offer to an another semester?
I'm really worried. Looking forward to hear from you guys.
