Submitted Preliminary Application for MSc in Construction Management on Feb 10 but no response yet

It seems that no body is applying to University of Alberta

I applied for FALL 2014 Civil Engineering (structural) MSc. Preliminary application was approved on 22.10.13. Got refusal email on 25.02.2014. GPA 87%. 7 years of prof experience. IELTS 7

Really weird to get refused with such GPA !!!

I reckon that GPA doesn't matter at all in terms of research programs. I tried to contact the potential supervisor (3 times) but got no response

I believe they are not accepting any applications until 2015 and therefore I had to apply to another uni offering the same course ...

They are not accepting applications for MEng, but for MSC they do.
