Could a dependent (college student) be rejected when the principal applicant is not, or even cause the whole application to be rejected? We are waiting on our medical request, there has been no issue up until this point and everything is within the timeline. I am concerned the dependent will be rejected because she has a bachelor's degree, and is pursuing a masters degree (/phd as well) and is thus still very financially dependent. Alternatively, maybe her degree(s) would be seen as worthwhile? It's a useful degree with a specific skill set.
Thanks for any input.

Have you applied in CEC class? & Are you talking about your spouse?

Because from what I was told about spouse was that for them, they just see the security clearance, everything else (i.e. eligibility) is based on the principal applicant.

Oh oops, sorry! It is me (the principal), my spouse, and daughter under Canadian Experience Class application. Daughter is the college-aged dependent. I'm just curious if they can reject dependents (other than for medical reasons), or if they're inclined to accept the whole application when deciding to accept the principal. It's just a bit different than my spouse because the daughter is an adult.
