Hello members,

I have been working with my current company for the past six months as a full time employee. I was working 35-40 hours per week, which passes the CEC eligibility. However, for the next two weeks, I will only be able to work 25 hours per week.

So, will the hours for the next two weeks will be qualified or not? Or will it count as part time hours and then the two weeks will be combined to count as one week?

Thanks in advance!

as for my knowledge, they wont be combined as I had the same situation and it was answered by immigration officer. the only thing they suggested me to do is working one more month (for my case) to fulfill the one year full time job experience request.

On the cec website it says, one year of full time or equivalent of part time work, so as long as you have one year of job experience and 1560 hours, i don't think it should be a problem and the hours will be counted. Since you working 35-40 hours a week, you will have more 1560 hours after one year at the job.

I think so, too. As long as you have 12 months of experience and the number of hours, you should be good.

It should count as the part-time equivalent, you would need to work a whole extra 10 hours. 53 weeks and you'll be fine, even if they do check -
