Hey Albla...,

Take it easy buddy and be professional, who ever want to migrate to Canada and to which ever country don't want to go into this unemployment - work hard - earn money. Your question is legit however you are talking about slaves, Islamic fundamentalist, churches and whatever..... which doesn't make any sense to any one here.

We are here to go to a country where we can live better life, your question about unemployed is OK but then don't lets turn it to something else.

And BTW I don't own this forum, I am just a contributer and get information - but I didn't like your tone - calm down, slavery is over long time ago.

I vey much agree with New Yorker, People tend to migrate from one country to another for better prospects and not for unemployment benefits.

But a question asked must be answered to avoid un-necessary arguments. People should avoid being sentimental.

Taken from the EG7000 booklet Application for PR - FSW class
The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.
You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in
Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to support
the costs of living for your family.
You will need to provide proof of your funds to the Canadian visa office in your home country when you
submit your application for immigration.

Re:Unemployment benefits in Canada.

Abla_h or whatever you are called, if you are one of those who look for excuses to claim easy money that you don't have rights to, and if that's your reason for immigrating to a country then I suppose you don't need to think hard as you have already got a good argument before even making that big move of immigrating.

Yes, I agree that what some of the western nations did was not right, they simply LOOTED the wealth and manpower of countries which were once their colonies, so on this note I would really encourage you to try and do the same to them i.e. looting their banks when you get there, ripping off their insurance companies by fake claims, filing false bankruptcies etc etc, but if you are thinking to target the benefit system then you need to know that you are not doing anything more clever or brave than being a pussy cat. Only a pussy cat will try to do something as cheap as claiming hard earned money of hard working public through creating lies to get sympathies of the benefit officers. No matter how mentally or physically fit you are, you HAVE to create some sort of dramas to be able to get benefit money approved. Think about this, colonial wealth was looted through very organised practices, not like the one you have put forward.

p.s. I just read your other post when you mentioned fundamentalism. I don’t wana say much about that but having lived in Birmingham for four and a half years and graduated from that city, I think I have amalgamated more in its society and am equipped to talk about it more than you. I’d like to invite you to show you around so you can see what a fantastic and a multi-cultural city it is. That will be my effort to broaden the horizons of your mentality that might have been developed by some bad source.

Sisifo, I appreciate, thats the way a mature person answers a question .

No one has answered the question .and have started being judgemental.

I am sure the person is immigrating for better prospects and not for unemployment benfits.

This is incorrect. PMM answered his question in the first reply.

We can only hope so but looking at his answers, it seems that he feels fully entitled to take benefits because of rich countries evil deeds in the past? The Canada employment insurance is not based on repayment for evil deeds. It is what it is, insurance. You pay into it and if you need it, it's there.

Yep, cos you painted me as if it's a big deal. somebody can't ask a simple question? You hijacked the forum as if you are the one running it.

I agree with the above statement, some of us were realy behaving like bullies. I have seen quite a number of posts regarding crime & criminal records and their relevence to Canadian immigration.I am sure most of us gave appropriate views. No one said why people with criminal record should enter Canada ?Staying within the context is always better. No one learns from derogatory answers. Yes some of us do attempt to hijack the forum.
