Understanding profile updates

Hi,
I want your help in understanding my profile updates

Initially:
Application status - We have received your profile.
Medical - Not Required
Background Check - Not Applicable

2nd update
Application status - We are processing your application. We will send you a message if there's an update.
Medical - You passed the medical
Background Check - Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check

3rd Update
Background Check - Not Applicable

Can you decipher the meaning of these changes? How many more changes should I expect before the PPR?

even though not everyone gets the same update in the same order, you will still have a background check change to : we are processing your background check etc...
and
we do not need additional documents

please note that for some people, they don't see changes in their application until they suddenly get ppr, so don't worry. once your application hits the 6 months mark you can start following up with cic. you can share a few details about the dates of these changes (when they happened, when did you submit the applcaition etc...)
