Hi..

I am new to this forum and not clear on the following ranking categories :

1. Official languages proficiency - first official language : Does it mean English or French ?
Official languages proficiency - second official language : Does it mean English or French ?

2. CRS – Skill transferability factors
With Canadian work experience and a post-secondary degree : Does it mean post secondary in native country?
Foreign work experience : Does working in native country counts foreign exp ?

3. Certificate of qualification (trade occupations): is it asking for IELTs certificate ?

Could you guys please help me understand these.
Thanks !!

Man, I don't want to be harsh but questions like these are why consultants rake so much money. Just go through the online webpages once.

1) First language will be whatever YOU designate as your first official language. Not the mother tongue, but whatever you choose your first language to be, English or French.

2)Country of degree does not matter.
Foreign here means, foreign to Canada, so yes it counts.

3) No. Trade certification is different. You cannot be a pipefitter just based on your IELTS exam.
