Hello guys,

I'm a new member of this amazing forum and I am from Bangladesh. I want to complete my undergraduate degree in Canada. Below are my grades of Secondary, Higher secondary exams and IELTS score

SSC- 78% (2012)
HSC- 76.8% (August 2014)
IELTS- 7.5 (L-8.5 R-8.5 S-7.0 W-6.5)

My sister is a PR living in Montreal. I have submitted my application for Concordia University(fall term) on 24 January. My selected programs are Software Engineering, Chemistry and Computer Engineering
My questions are-

1.What are my chances ?
2.How long it might take to get a response from them ?
3. Could you suggest me some other good Universities where I have greater chances to be accepted ?

From August to December, I was preparing for the admission test of a Bangladeshi Engineering university (SUST). Unfortunately I wasn't selected for SUST so on January I admitted myself to an English learning institute as I had decided to be an international student. I also read English versions of my text books during the gap so that I could increase my English proficiency and fortify my knowledge of science at the same time. I prepared myself for IELTS and took the test on December 2015.

if you can explain this properly in your SOP, then your chances will be good.

Thanks a lot. My programs do not require SOP, but I wrote those reasons in my application
