Under which Conditions CIO Returns Initial Application?

Hello All


Under which conditions CIO, NS, Canada returns the Initial application to the applicant?

I was a student in Canada. I had confusion about naming my Student visa as "Student Authorization" or "Temporary Study Permit" or "Temporary Residence Visa".

Do you all think CIO will return my application for this? or they will accept my app (hopefully) and CHC Singapore will tell me to correct that error. I did add my Student Visa atamped Passport's Xeroxed copy tho and added all the addressed where I had lived during my stay in Canada. Now I am feeling the urge to make a change in form IMM 0008 ( APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE IN CANADA). Do I need to do it and send it to CIO adding an explanation with it about my confusion under which I made the mistake?

I am sure they know what you mean, especially since you gave them a copy of the visa. What did you end up naming it in the end?

I personally feel your apps will not return back due to that. Once u have mentioned your previous visa [also added its copy], whatever name u wrote should be fine, as Leon & Rupesh advised.
