Hi there,
Pls help me and answer my question. If someone with same status pls advise me. Right now I'm under tfw program (cashier in retail store) but due to problem now here in canada about the moratorium I just wanna change my work to nanny. And my problem is I don't have a care giver course. I've been 2 1/2 here as a tfw. My experiences is to take good care of my siblings, cousin and of course my daughter back home.. It is possible to change my work or not? Pls answer my question bec I don't wanna go home for my daughter future.. Tnx a lot

No - you don't qualify for LCP. You must either have completed a caregiver course (or similar education) or have PAID experience as a caregiver. Taking care of your siblings, cousin, and daughter doesn't count as experience.

I'm afraid Scylla is right.I have few friends thinking of the same thing.Even before this moratorium issue came, the requirement for live in caregiver was like that.I think they would be more stringent on screening caregivers as a lot would be jumping on this because of the moratorium.
