First to all, thank you to everyone from this site who has been very helpful to each other.
I have sent my passport for visa stamp via Skilled Worker, but the thing is I don't know where to settle with wife(principal applicant) and 2 toddlers. I don't want to leave US, but I have no choice. I am out of status and can't do anything legally...tired of my lifestyle. It's a long story, bad advice from someone who does paperwork for living and can't adjust my status. I have serve 10 years ban outside. I am happy that I will be able to do stuff freely once I arrive in Canada, such like study,work,travel,drive...etc Sad thing is my wife has to leave her family behind.
I am 35-40 years old Income $60,000-$70,000 I like cold weather but not that cold 10 degree the most. I see people saying the housing is very expensive. My wife makes a decent pay in the US, and don't want to leave this job for a Canadian one- since it's hard to find a job there. She will make sure there is one that fits her before she quits. Where should I settle? That is a biggest challenge we as everyone in this site has to go thru. I like to keep everyone close especially for her family in the east coast. Give me your opinion...thank you again and good luck to everyone.

I'd say it depends on where you can find a decent job. If you really don't like the cold, Toronto is still ok, it does get a bit cold but at least it doesn't snow very much and it is not too far from the US east coast.

Toronto is great (IMHO). But the real estate prices suck. The average selling prices of a home is now over $500K (this average includes both house and condo sales).
