Unable to update my profile

Hello

I am not able to update my profile on the CIC site . I had created the same yesterday. I am however able to view it.

Is anyone else facing this issue?

If you have just created your Express Entry profile and waiting for Job Bank registration, then you will have to wait to complete the same. Your profile will get updated within 24-48 hours, post that you can update your profile anytime till you get an ITA.

Please dont mind me asking, how much time JobBank's profile activation usually takes ?
I am going to enter on 26th May - so preparing myself.

Once you create your Express Entry profile (MyCIC account), you will a message in your MyCIC account which will have Express Entry profile number and Job Seeker Activation Code along with instructions to create and activate your Job Bank account. Sometimes it takes 24 hours to get the message in your MyCIC account and after you have got the message, you can straightaway create your Job Bank account and validate it as well using Express Entry profile number and Job Seeker Activation Code.

My Profile status says that the profile is ineligible. I have made a mistake in one of the fields and need to update the same. I have not received a message for job bank activation.
Can this be because of the profile ineligible status?
ALso can I start over again?

Once your profile becomes ineligible, you will not be able to update it nor get any message to register for Job Bank. You will have to create a new Express Entry profile and if eligible, you will get a message in your MyCIC account (within 24 hours) with instructions to set up a Job Bank account.

I have created a new profile and have a score of 471. I have also registered for the job bank.

I have two questions:-
1.) Am I eligible for future draws even if my job bank profile is not complete?
2.) How can I delete my earlier profile. I cannot see an option to do so. Will that be considered a duplicate profile?

1. Your Express Entry profile will be active only once Job Bank registration has been completed and you will receive ITA only if you have met all the requirements with regard to ensuring your profile is active including Job Bank registration and activation.
2. You cannot delete an ineligible profile.
