Unable to provide biometrics for spouse on time

Hi,

Today(26th Dec 2019) my spouse and I received our Biometrics instruction letters. She is in her 8th month of Pregnancy and expected date of delivery is 12th Jan 2019. Since there are no biometrics collection centers for Canada in Kochi and can’t travel to any of the nearest biometric centers (Chennai/Bangalore) during the pregnancy, she wouldn’t be able to provide her biometrics on time. I have the following questions based on this situation.

1) How do we ask for additional time for providing the biometrics?
2) What supporting documents do we have to provide to support our request?
3) Whom do we contact for such requests and how?

Request someone to clarify this as soon as possible since the last date for submission mentioned in the letter is 26th December.
