Hello all,

Has been a really bad day so far. I received my COPR a week back so decided to land today at the Rainbow bridge since guys were already saying that you cant land at peace bridge anymore. I followed the usual procedure as suggested in this forum for flagpoling. I went the US side and got an administrative refusal and went back to the Canada side where one officer gave me the yellow slip and asked me to go the building across his booth. I walked in there and there was a huge line up today and we waited up for about 2 hours before we were called and when I went up to the office she said it outright that she cant help me . I asked why? and all she said was "You cannot land here sir and here's the number you should be contacting to schedule an appointment". I was like "WTF?!??!?!??!" (Just furious because I saw a bunch of people landing before me!!), Anyone landed recently at rainbow bridge please let me know what's going on? I have a question for you guys tho:

1. Can I try my luck again and go tomorrow to do the landing? I honestly don't want to wait months to get an appointment to land in a local CIC office. Any suggestions?
2. Did someone land recently? Please help me

Someone please help!

If you are still there just go to peace bridge or toLewiston-Queenston bridge, the second bridge is closer

take a U turn and land, seems they were busy and the officer was just mean to you..

good luck

Thanks for your reply! I'm home now. Can i try again tomorrow @ rainbow bridge?

That's why people said on this forum not to use weekend normally for landing..

cezycez user landed just now at "Rainbow bridge", see it on June 2013 thread, Worth try on weekdays or early morning on weekends.. Cheers

Yeah I read that too. Tomorrow I'm planning to get there around 7 OR 8 AM in the morning. Is it okay to try my luck again ?

Of course, you will make it.. don't worry, don't tell them what happened with you today.. Best wishes

Good Luck :)

Thanks guys! On that note I'm wondering whether there is a reason why she said that. I'm landing with my wife (dependant) . It is okay for the principal applicant to land with the dependent right? or should the PA land first before the dependent?

Both can land at same time. No problem at all.. Enjoy

Go Again tomorrow, in the morning it will be empty .. Good Luck.. I will go to land in Sarnia on Monday as it is closer to me and so so empty

Landed last night at rainbow bridge with 2 dependents. We were the only people there. Not a question asked. Sat and waited for 20 mins max. Officers were super nice and were playin wit my toddler son. Awesome experience after sitting by the frozen niagara lake in a heated car sipping on coffee. Don't worry and do not lose parience. Try again! Be nice to them and check ur COPR for conditions if any. All da best!

My timing was bad I guess.. Will try tomorrow again. Thanks guys!

Even if your timing was bad, Why did the officer said no? It seems like CIC is employing a lot of horses these days.
