Unable to gather evidence

I came to Canada illegally in December 2017 and I’ve been in Quebec since then,I’m still awaiting hearing as my first hearing date was postponed and I’m yet to receive a new date but right I’m unable to get some of the evidence my lawyer requested for,I want to if anyone knows if it’s possible to attend a hearing without enough proof such as an affidavit from a third

You can attend the hearing without proof but doing so will pretty much guarantee your claim will fail. The onus is on you to prove you need asylum.
