Hello all,

I received my ITA on 18 Nov and I believe my medical condition Ulcerative Colitis may lead to medical inadmissibility especially that my biologic treatment (ENTYVIO) is quite expensive around $21,458 CAD. I've spoken to two lawyers but they have only increased my confusion on what should be done.

Has anyone gone through such a case? Can you please share what was your strategy?

Thank you

Your total medical expenses need to be under $20,000 per year. This includes any treatments / medications, as well as doctor appointments, tests, etc. If the annual cost of your treatment is over $20,000 then that would put you at extremely high risk for refusal.
