Dear all,
I have been living here in UK from last 9years or so, i would like to immigrate to Canada now, Luckily when i try free assessment i have enough points to be eligible. My question is about job offer, is job offer the mandatory or can i apply without work offer for express entry.
please any valuable suggestions, BIG THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

It's definitely not mandatory.

Have you calculated your points under Express Entry? Having enough point to apply doesn't mean that once you apply - you will actually be selected. Historically, only those with 450 or more points have been selected. Recently, that number hasn't dropped below 480.

The first step is to check the eligibility. Use this link to check your eligibility http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp.

IELTS has a major role in boosting your CRS score. Try to target CLB 9 which is 8777 in LRWS. Use this calculator to see the impact that higher IELTS can have on your CRS score http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp.

You also need to get ECA done before creaying your Express Entry profile.

In addition to the CRS score, CIC assesses federal skilled worker applications based on six selection factors.

If you score 67 points or higher (out of 100), you may qualify to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker.

If you score lower than the pass mark of 67 points, the applicant will not qualify to immigrate to Canada as a federal skilled worker and the Express Entry profile would be ineligible
