UK GCSE Results = Proof of English?

Does anyone know if completion of secondary school in the UK with GCSE certificates will be accepted by CIC.

Seems crazy that it wouldn't be but then this is the government we're talking about here.

For citizenship, yes, but include the marks/report card.

I happily stand corrected. I just double checked http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/language.asp and it says yes.
