UK Electrician & US School Counsellor Couple Seeking Immigration Advice

Hi I am a 31 year old school counsellor from the US and my boyfriend is a 36 year old electrician from Scotland and we are interested in moving to Canada. From the research we have done it appears we are both eligible for the express entry visa option.
Does anyone have experience with this and more specifically working within our occupations?
Any help or information would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
