Hi All,

Could you please tell which is the best and the fastest way to get the PR for my spouse (outside Canada)?
I know its a 12 month process so need a way in which she can get her work permit till the process is completed.

Others will comment but maybe look at an inland application although that does have more restrictions than outland although unlikely to be any quicker.

There is no "fastest way". You need to sponsor her for PR.

In order to apply inland with an Open Work Permit, she must actually be in Canada. With a PR spouse in Canada, chances of TRV approval are low.

If she can't get a TRV, you need to apply outland.

As long as you are currently in a relationship, she is deemed "a potential immigrant" and there is very little hope she can enter Canada before approved as a sponsored person.

while it's difficult to get a TRV as a spouse, it's certainly not impossible. we've seen many cases on here where people have successfully received TRVs even after submitting a PR application. I believe those who are most successful can prove they own property in their home country and have various other ties. Since the OP hasn't submitted an application yet, if their spouse can prove significant ties, there is still a chance a TRV will be issued.

I haven't registered my marriage yet. So do you recommend that she should apply TRV first and then I can register the marriage as its a easier process?

Or shall I apply her as an Outland?
