We are Canadian citizens (since 2008). We are applying to sponsor our US-born child for PR status. Since we are naturalized Canadian citizens, we have to fill in the UCI (Universal Client Identification)/Client ID number) on the sponsorship application form (otherwise it won't validate electronically). I have looked in my Canadian passport, on my record of landing, even on my old PR card, but I can't see a UCI (Universal Client Identification)/Client ID number) in the right format (xxxx-xxxx). Where else can I look?
Thank you!

When was your son born?

He was born while our citizenship application was being processed - so technically we were PR, not citizens.

I hate to say this, but if you're replying to an English topic, please reply IN English. If you start your own thread that is your language, that's fine.

Sorry Parker24. I just want to know regarding the UCI number! last year our application was returned because of CAP reached for NURSES. However, when the documents was sent back, the Generic Form on personal details under item number 3(UCI) an 8 digit number was handwritten. What does it means? Do CIC has already a record of our application? We are planning to re-apply on July, are we going to put the 8 digit UCI number on our application?

It's okay! You'd just get help faster if it was English :)

Yes, you have a UCI number and you need to put it on your application :)
