UCI status says in process...meaning ?

Dear all
Just want to check from senior members that what does IN PROCESS mean on UCI status. Does it mean that the application has been recd by the VIsa Office ? My VO is Delhi. Had recd PER on 8th Jan. Pls advise. Thanks.

You Visa office has started processing your file. Its a good sign. Next if you get thru interview waiver you will get medical request,
