UCI number - the same as for WP?

I am wondering, as we submit our application (my Canadian common law husband sponsoring me outland, we live together in Canada, I am here on a work permit) - I assume he does not have a client/UCI number, but I do, because I have a WP. So when we are applying for PR for me, in the forms which ask for the UCI I give the one I already have? or do I leave this blank and they assign me/us one later?

it's better to write if you already had one from your previous visas.
