Thanks for those who contacted me, maybe it will be beneficial to keep this post alive by communicating here from time to time. The group remains open to welcome you.
 
One of the hot topics always being asked is UAE Police Clearance Certificate.. If you're in Dubai or been previously a resident of Dubai you will need to use the online system as they recently stopped issuing manual/paper certificates. Below is a summary of what you have to do..

If you're currently a resident of UAE with valid EID
  1. Log on to Dubai Police website, use the individual services link and choose Police Clearance Certificate.
  2. Confirm you're located inside the UAE, insert your ID number, from the drop menu choose immigration as the purpose of certificate.
  3. From the drop menu choose private sector as the requesting party, choose English as the language of the certificate, and type the name of the party requesting this certificate.
  4. Inter your email address, accept terms and conditions, select captcha, and click next.
  5. You may then be requested to upload your picture, and then you'll be directed to pay online.
Bear in mind that this certificate will be issued with your name as it appears in your Resident Visa and not as per the Emirates ID, if your name is different you will need to visit Dubai HQ in order to change spelling exactly as per your passport.
Also, sometimes you may be asked to visit the nearest police station with your emirates ID for verification before they send the certificate to your email inbox.

If you're currently a outside of UAE without a valid EID
  1. Log on to Dubai Police website, use the individual services link and choose Police Clearance Certificate.
  2. Confirm you're located outside of the UAE, type your name as it appears in the passport, and confirm your nationality from the drop menu.
  3. Answer the question if you have a valid emirates ID, and enter your mobile phone number.
  4. From the drop menu choose immigration as the purpose of certificate, and choose English as the language of the certificate.
  5. Inter your email address, accept terms and conditions,
  6. Upload your personal picture, your passport copy, your previous residence visa copy.
  7. Select captcha, and click next, you'll be then directed to pay online.
Some people will be requested for biometrics, this will require a manual request through the Emirates consulate/embassy in your current place of residency. Check the forums here for people who went through the same process.
