U of Alberta, MiNT Program, Is it good enough to apply

I have been to many consultant regarding the university to choose for Masters degree and many of them had told me not to apply for UoA MiNT Program because it is worthless.

I wonder how come the University like Alberta could offer a program whom everyone calls worthless ?
I even talked to some currently enrolled students in MiNT program, they also advised me not to join this program.

I am totally confused wether should i apply there or not ? Could anyone please tell me ?

If you are really interested in that program then go ahead and apply for it. There's no harm in doing that. You can always choose a better program/university once have options

BTW I have also applied for Internetworking program, pre-screening application has been approved. Waiting for their final decision.
